Jewelry enthusiasts can now download how-to videos from some of the most trusted sources in the craft-publishing industry.

WAUKESHA, Wisc. — The editors of Art Jewelry, Bead&Button, and BeadStyle magazines introduce "Jewelry Classes On Demand" — www.JewelryClassesOnDemand.com.

This site launched July 21, 2009, and features downloadable videos that show crafters how to create necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other jewelry pieces, using a variety of materials and techniques.

Jewelry makers can purchase the classes ($19.95) and download them to their computers and iPods. In addition to the videos, customers receive supply information and downloadable PDF with easy-to-follow instructions. The site currently offers nine videos and more are in production currently.

"We're always looking for ways to grow in new media efforts," BeadStyle Publisher Elfrieda Abbe said.

"JewelryClassesOnDemand.com is an exciting opportunity for us to share our editors' expertise in a different medium."

All the production takes place at Kalmbach Publishing Co.'s video studio. iAmplify.com hosts the web site and videos.
