Organizing Beading Supplies | Storing Ideas | Finding Color Inspiration

A new use for office furniture, making an inspiration collage and finding color ideas at the cosmetics counter.

1 computer armoire
I use an inexpensive computer armoire for my beading. The computer keyboard tray slides out for my long bead design board and the shelves hold my assorted bead drawers. I put up cork boards on the inside of each door and hang my tools and strands of beads on push pins. When I'm done working, I simply close the doors and it's all neat and tidy.

2 collage
I cut up old jewelry magazines to make a collage. Then, whenever I need an idea for a new piece of jewelry, I go back and look. This really sparks my imagination.

3 eye shadow
I found that the eye shadow section in any makeup department helps me find new color combinations that work well together.
