BrideStyle #10: Wedding jewelry design resourcesby Stacy Werkheiser You've made it through 10 weeks of BrideStyle, congratulations! Do you have finished wedding jewelry to show? Send me a JPEG at shillmer(at)beadstylemag(dot)com. Do you have questions, comments, or commiserations? Send them in too! And if your jewelry is still in progress, fear not! My own wedding jewelry took longer than 10 weeks to design. (I just made it look like I was Johnny-on-the-spot for the sake of this series!)
All throughout our journey, I've given you wedding jewelry resources, but there were a few I just couldn't work in. Take a gander at these websites and books for more inspiration, projects, and advice.

Wedding jewelry design books
Simply Beautiful Weddings
by Heidi Boyd In addition to paper crafts and silk flower projects, this book features beaded projects to make your big day special. You might enjoy making one or two beaded candle rings and "champagne flute lilies," but probably not a whole reception's worth. The bouquet charms are a neat idea, and the chapter titled "The beaded bride & company" offers projects for five necklaces, three bracelets, three pairs of earrings, and a few miscellaneous jewelry items.
Beaded Weddings by Jean Campbell This book will show you how to bead just about anything for your wedding. There's a whole chapter on jewelry, but my favorite topic had to be the beaded invitations, especially the ones that feature a vellum "window" with colored seed beads behind it. Many of the projects are doable in small quantities, though a few can be easily mass-produced, like favor bag charms, beaded bobbie pins, and organza bags with beaded drawstrings. A great place to start looking for inspiration!
The DIY Bride Crafty Countdown by Khris Cochran This hip new book offers 40 craft ideas, including paper crafts, edible favors, and of course bead-related projects. I love the wirework bird's nest to hold your wedding rings, the bejeweled bridal headband, and wine-glass/truffle charms. Read my previous, more detailed review here.
The Beaded Jewelry for a Wedding Book by Wendy Simpson Conner This little book is illustrated with just a few color photos of the jewelry. The 20+ jewelry and headpiece projects are simple and classic and there's a good overview of pearl knotting.
Bridal Jewellery by Clare Yarwood-White I haven't been able to get my hot little hands on this British publication, but here's an excerpt from the official press release: "Bridal Jewellery provides insight into the unique world of wedding jewellery and guides the reader through the process of consulting, designing, and making. Simple tips and practical step-by-step demonstrations are aimed at brides who would like to make their own jewellery or jewellery designers looking to expand their skills. A chapter on building a business and a comprehensive appendix make the handbook a long-term reference source."
