Holiday packaging tips

Upcycle items you probably already have
Published: November 23, 2012

tip1
Some of the petals on my white silk poinsettia plan were yellowing with age. Before I tossed it, I saved some still-white petals for earring cards.
tip2
I created a bail with a bit of wire and suspended these earrings inside a clear ornament left over from a craft project. This only works with narrow earrings. You can also use a metallic Sharpie to write the recipient's name on the glass.
tip3
I love these gift tags, but they never seemed to match the wrapping paper I was using. They are a perfect whimsical earring delivery system!

PS: The earrings in these examples are from our upcoming special issue 365 Earrings Vol. 2.
