Patterns in Polymer Imprint & Accent Bead Techniques by Julie Picarello
Much of this book's focus is imprinting. This technique involves stacking clay and other materials and slicing it to expose intricate patterns. And Julie Picarello is a master. She offers great suggestions for mixing interesting color combinations and for unusual imprint and distressing tools, and demonstrates how to add found objects to polymer, and how to design and finish layered beads. Perhaps not the best choice for a true beginner, but Patterns in Polymer is inspirational none the less. Visit KalmbachBooks.com.
